Install the YouTLDR beta.

The public Chrome Web Store listing is not live yet. If you received the beta ZIP, use the local install steps below.

If you already have the ZIP

  1. Unzip the latest youtldrextension-0.1.2-chrome.zip.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome, Arc, Brave, or Edge.
  3. Enable Developer mode.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped extension folder.
  5. Open a YouTube video. The YouTLDR card should appear in the right rail.

What to expect

Cached summaries should be fast. Opening a thumbnail preview uses the separate preview allowance.

The free beta includes 3 full summaries and 10 preview cards a day. Pro makes both unlimited.
